Scope: This policy applies to all regular full-time and part-time employees of companies who are appointed by Shining Light Payroll who are eligible for medical benefits as per the company’s benefit plan.
Eligibility: Employees eligible for medical payroll must meet the following criteria: Be employed on a regular full-time or part-time basis. Have successfully completed their probationary period. Be enrolled in the company’s medical benefits plan.
Medical Payroll Deductions: Shining Light Payroll aids by way of offering medical benefits to eligible employees. To cover the cost of these benefits, the following payroll deductions will apply: Employee Contributions: Employees are required to contribute a portion of the premium for medical benefits. The specific amount will be determined by the company and communicated to employees during the enrolment period.
Payroll Deduction Process: Payroll deductions for medical benefits will be processed as follows: Deductions will be taken on a pre-tax basis, where applicable, in accordance with current tax regulations.
